I’m Leon Williams, an AI Data Readiness Consultant based in Cape Town, South Africa. I spent 26 years in banking before starting Fin Statique.
Why I started Fin Statique
For 26 years I worked in banking. I was a data analyst, an MI Manager (MI means management information, the reports leaders use to run the business), a Program Manager, a COO, an IT and Operations Manager, and a subject matter expert in tax regulatory reporting.
Along the way I built MI and regulatory tax reporting teams from scratch for a number of banks. I also spent many years handling extremely sensitive personal and company information.
In that time I saw too many small and medium businesses being taken advantage of. Some paid big consulting firms inflated prices. Others hired people without real business and management experience. Either way, they ended up with solutions that cost the earth and didn’t suit them.
Fin Statique is my answer to that. You get senior, banking‑grade data expertise at a price that fits a mid‑market company. Every step has a flat fixed fee in US dollars. There are no hourly rates.
I start from where your data is today
When I open a company’s data, I usually find duplicated records, data entered incorrectly or in a hurry, and, in most cases, incomplete data. That’s normal. I don’t judge it. I accept where things are and work calmly from there.
I do need to see your data, because the work only succeeds with transparency. You don’t have to give me direct access to your systems or chats, but you do need to supply the data from every system involved. I sign an NDA before we start.
The moment I love most comes at the end. A client sees clean, complete, de‑duplicated data for the first time, a single source of truth, and starts to realise what it opens up for the company.
What “Fin Statique” means
In French, “fin statique” means the final point.
That’s the idea behind the line and the dot beneath the name in my logo. I want Fin Statique to be the final vendor in your search for a solution: the last one you’ll need to work with.
